Tell me you watch a lot of Jane Austen adaptations, without telling me you watch a lot of Austen adaptations... I'll go first:

I have a mental notebook of hundreds of quotes, that I've collected over the years that are so much more impactful than the ones you generally see printed on tat.

This one struck me hard, and stuck. I've been waiting to put it on a pot for a while now, and thought I'd trust it here on this bud vase/pot as an overglaze test, with some dainty little 24ct gold lustre details (of course)... and the kiln gods were kind - just hoping Jane won't be mad that I only know the quote because of Netflix (persuasion was always my least favourite... Now it's the one I relate to the most, and fuck it I LOVE the Dakota Johnson version)
 
I had this one at a few markets over Christmas (semi reluctant to part with her), and she got a lot of love, laughs and a few "YEESSSS" reactions. Personally, this is absolutely me, I hope it finds the right person to love it endlessly.
