EMIN:ATE

Inspired by Tracy Emin's freeflowing and very honest artworks (particularly her monoprints and gouache line drawings), I decided to create 30 postcards, expressing whatever I felt I needed to that day - as part of my 30 by 30 art challenge. For the blue, I mixed a yellow cyanotype sensitiser, and applied it using a light-tight fillable watercolour brush and a set of dipping fountain pens [as pictured]. Once dried, this was then exposed to UV lights before being washed to reveal a range of blue tones.
